3 Comments Called to Worship
Continuing on the subject of worship, we are called to worship.
Every civilization and culture in world history have worshiped something or somebody. Because man was created to worship. It is in our make up to give exaltation to the one who is superior to us. It is man’s nature to praise and worship God the Creator.
Isaiah 43:21 (NIV)
21 the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise.
Most of creation worships instinctively, but God made man in His image with the ability to create, image, dream and make decisions. So we have the ability to decide whether we want to worship the Lord our Creator or not.
How tragic it is to think that so many Christians, either through ignorance of or disobedience to this revelation, are keeping from their Heavenly Father that which He so ardently desires them to give Him.
This is something that nothing else in creation can give Him as we can. It is only man who has the option of choice.
I pray that Christians every where realize that we are CALLED TO WORSHIP.
